Our Ship Didn't Make it as Far as We'd Hoped - April, 2020
Acrylic on Canvas - triptych 20" x 30" x 1" per section, 60" x 30" x 1" total

I enjoy colorful, visual metaphors, and this piece is a metaphor for my journey the past few years. One could imagine that everyone feels lost, alone, perhaps imagining that they've failed or fallen short of what they expected out of themselves. That is what I'm trying to represent here, but take it for what you will.

This piece was a bit more fun to finish because a good friend provided me with a sketch to use at will. Having that support and friends that are willing to help adds something special.

Shipping is based on estimates within the continental United States. If you live in the Chicago area, please contact me so I can drop the painting off personally and lower the overall cost, rather than shipping it.

If you are outside of the US, I'd be happy to discuss shipping arrangements, as they would require me to provide an estimate. Feel free to contact me with inquiries.
